Shifted plasmonic nanorods to enhance the density of hot-spots for surface-based nonlinear optics

authored by

Strong field enhancements are observed in the nano-gaps of plasmonic nanostructures. We propose a novel structure made of shifted nanorods to maximize the density of hot-spots, which is a crucial parameter for surface-based nonlinear optics.
